When planning for that special day, the Historic Summit Inn, built in 1907, is the place of choice for couples wishing to create an unforgettable event. The Summit Inn offers the perfect setting with picturesque views and grand staircases.
Wedding's are always an extraordinary event at The Summit Inn. Our reception packages are designed with many options for creating your perfect day and our professional staff is here to assist you in every step of your process.

Whether you choose one of our specialty packages complete with hors d'oeurves and professional bar service, or create a custom event with our various menu choices, our knowledgeable catering staff can assist you in your selections.
BAR AND BEVERAGES
Our professional bartending staff is available to serve your guests' their favorite drink just the way they like, with a smile. Punch fountains are available with refreshing creations in both alcohol and non-alcohol versions.
We offer a choice of several banquet rooms, which can seat parties from 40 to 450. Head tables are customized as traditional; two-tiered or as a sweetheart setting for the bridal couple only. All set-up and clearing are included with the use of our banquet rooms.
The Summit Inn offers a choice of both white and cream table linens. All tablecloths, skirting and linen napkins are provided at no additional charge for your event. Chair cover may be rented at the venue of your choice. We suggest that you have samples available for fitting prior to your event.
Both the Baron room and the Firestone Room can be utilized as a hospitality room for your group. Hospitality menus are available with your choice of bar and snack options. Hospitality Room fees apply.
Your rehearsal dinner is an event that you can customize to be an extension of your special day. Whether you plan a formal served dinner or a fun evening buffet, we can create a specialty menu just for you.
While hosting your special event at the Historic Summit Inn, your guests become our guests when staying in one of our beautifully-appointed hotel rooms. All rooms are custom decorated with many offering a magnificent view. Group rates are available. Most weekends require a two-night minimum stay.
A great way to say thank you to everyone who joined in making your wedding a treasured memory and to reminisce about the wonderful evening before, our buffet breakfast or brunch is he perfect way to say good-bye to your guests.
POLICY AND PROCEDURE
In order to accommodate your personal requests, we suggest you reserve the space for your event as soon as possible. At the time of your request, a contract will be sent and a deposit will be due. Four to six weeks prior to your event, all details will be finalized and a detailed event order will be sent for your approval, at which time fifty percent of your estimated total will be due. The estimated balance will be due three days prior to your event. Due to state regulations, all food and beverage items, with the exception of your wedding cake, must be provided by the Summit Inn. Due to regulations by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, all alcohol must be provided by the Summit Inn.
